About Us
Cognify, a passion project turned business
Cognify is a new-age Learning Management System (LMS) designed to empower teachers and students by removing friction, not adding it.
We're not building another institutional platform. We're reimagining what learning tools should feel like: human, intuitive, and intelligent.
Our mission: Empower education through simplicity, design, and meaningful data.
Part 1
The Past
(How We Got Here)
Four years ago, I got fed up. I was studying in a relic. I watched as teachers wasted hours on tedious workflows. I was frustrated with how slow, outdated, and bloated everything felt. So I asked myself: Why are the tools we use to teach and learn so broken?
I started building something better. But the first version wasn't right. Neither was the second or third. We scrapped multiple MVPs over those four years — sometimes the architecture wasn't sustainable or we didn't have the support to continue.
Each time felt like a setback. But each time taught us something crucial: Resilience matters. Intentionality matters. Doing it right matters more than doing it fast.
Along the way, we connected with real educators. Entire departments at Parkville High. Colleges ready to partner. These weren't just users — they were collaborators who believed in what we were building.
We learned the problem was real. The solution just needed to be thoughtfully built.
Part 2
The Present
(Where We Stand)
We've built a strong foundation and are now architecting the platform the right way. We have real partnerships ready to use our platform — 400+ students across multiple schools willing to test with us
The LMS market is a billion-dollar industry dominated by bloated, uninspiring platforms. We're here to disrupt that by proving that education technology can be simple, human-centered, and actually loved by the people who use it.
But we're not building this alone. We're looking for engineers who care about craft and want to learn while building something meaningful. And anyone who believes education can be better and wants to help us build it.
Part 3
The Future
(Where We're Headed)
The future of education is being written right now. It's being written by teachers who are tired of broken systems. It's being written by students who deserve better. It's being written by people like you — people who see what's broken and want to fix it.
That future is built by you.
